Thanksgiving

Thanks Giving for 2011...

Thanksgiving Day is a holiday celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada. Thanksgiving is celebrated each year on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States Thanksgiving in North America had originated from a mix of European and Native traditions.Typically in Europe, festivals were held before and after the harvest cycles to give thanks for a good harvest, and to rejoice together after much hard work with the rest of the community.(Courtesy Wikipedia)

Thanks Giving may be celebrated for the above reason but, i am writing this blog as dedication for all who helped and supported me to make my 2011 a wonderful year

First and Foremost
i should thank God for giving me such a wonderful year with lot of memories. God never need appreciation or even won't whine Monica didn't appreciate me for the blessings which i have shown to her :) Still God I am thanking u for all the fortunes and blessings. Hope u will show the same to me for the coming year as well.

It'z bit difficult to set the priority list who has been more supportive and helpful..

Now My Daksh'u is my priority, so shall i thank him first.
He'z the one who made my year so memorable. He'z the one who always brings smile to my face irrespective of what ever frustration or tension i'm going thru. Daksh'u I love u a lot and thanks for being born as my son :)

Next is my hubby Deepak Asok  for being supportive all thru the years since he tie the magical knot :)It has been long (not that long) 3 years since we started our journey .This year was so special for both of us because of our son Daksh'u birth. The journey from the day i conceived till his birth was not at all easy with a job in hand. But he accompanied and supported me all through the journey  by all ways he can whether its cooking washing being awake all thru the night. With out u this won't be that easy. Thank u for being with me :)
 In Quotes :
" Expect the same in coming  years too"  hehheeh (Wink Wink)

Yes ofcourse i should thank my parents and in laws but before that i should say thank u to some one else.

That's Dr Mukundan - yes hez the gynecologist @ Lifeline hospital AbuDhabi. I never seen a Dr with such an attitude n fun :)
For every visit there will be something funny for being remembered.

I can quote a few :
I was having severe vomiting so during one of my visit i was saying .Doctor the vomiting is so worse i cannot withstand it..there is always bad taste in my mouth so i can't eat well. He will hear my whole sad story emphatically and at last i will ask Dr what will i do ? He will reply very casually dear nothing can be done its all part of the game. I will be expecting from his empathetic facial expression that he too is sad for my condition and is gonna prescribe some medicine.

In another visit Dr i'm not able to sleep well i'm awake all through the night ..Now also he has the same empathetic face.
For that problem he came up with a solution. Pointing my husband who was sitting next to me ask this guy or make this guy also to be awake with u :) I was like ohh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next visit Dr I am so tired after being back from office towards the end of the day i am so tired.Same empathetic face at end replies pointing my husband again Tell this guy "Either i can go for job or else can deliver your baby .I cannot handle the 2 jobs simultaneously".

Yah he always take things lightly ,so that I... From my initial visit till i am out of operation theater i too was cool :)

I really feel the diff between him and a gynecologist (Lady) in India when I visited one in India. There they are so rude as of they don't have any interest in treating us....

Dr Mukundan thanks for ur support and guidance and may god bless your hands to bring so many li'l ones to this beautiful world :)

Next My Parents and In Laws. Irrespective of their age and health condition they came to UAE for my delivery and other post delivery service's :)(Service's don't know whether its the right word to be used when it comes to relationship:) ).I should thank my Mom. There is no replacement for Mother. Whatever we may be in life whether as a child , student, wife/husband, mother/father of a child , for her we are still the small lil girl/boy who crib for small needs, who always walks behind her for getting things done,I should say My Amma is a Gem of a Person. Don't know how a lady can sacrifice like this with out any complaints..I love u Amma :) May be i can make her a role model to learn how a mother should be..Even though i cannot be like her totally still i will make a try.

I thank my Mother-in -Law n Father-In-Law for their effort in searching n finding name for my lil one.N my Mother In Law  only  insisted me to name my lil one as Daksh :)

I should thank my Deepu and Divyu  for being so supportive all through and for finding time to be to here for spending time with my Daksh'u with in their busy schedules n work :)

Last but not the least All My Friends ,Colleagues ,Managers n even Management who have been so supportive. Even they didn't express much through words still their actions were so supportive so that i was able to manage my job even at the toughest time with my worst health conditions.

I might have missed so many names in this post but it doesn't mean that i'm not thankful to them..Even tough itz not that loud but still i'm thankful to each one of you

I am loving 2011 and i am looking forward for an even more beautiful year 2012.

Wish you all a happy prosperous writers block free n gorgeous New Year with lots of great happening in your life :)

Somehow I missed this posting..Loved it. Instead of having all the other days celebrated like Valentines day, womens day etc, I think Thanksgiving day is the best. Atleast it makes people think for a min they were thankful for and feel great about it.
Good write up Monica and a nice thought :). Happy Blogging and great you are finding time with Dakshu and job.
